Introduction
Information our apps collect
Our apps are Android utility tools and games. The information each app accesses is limited to what it needs to perform its specific function:
- Device sensor data: Apps like Accelerometer Calibration and Touchscreen Repair read sensor values on-device to diagnose and recalibrate. This data is not transmitted off your device.
- Display output: Dead Pixel Fixer and Display Calibration control the screen output during a repair/calibration session. They do not capture or read back the screen.
- Battery data: Battery Hero reads battery level, temperature, voltage, cycle count, and per-app usage statistics through standard Android APIs.
- Game progress (Furzzle): Furzzle saves your puzzle progress, best moves and daily streak on your device. If you choose to sign in with Google Play Games, your progress is also backed up to your Google account (Play Games saved games) so you can restore it on a new phone. Furzzle records anonymous gameplay events (such as levels started and completed) with Firebase Analytics to improve the game; it does not use the advertising identifier. It shows no ads and has no in-app purchases.
- Device information: Device model, manufacturer, Android version, and an anonymous advertising identifier may be collected for analytics and ad delivery.
Website
The redpiapps.com website does not require any sign-in. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are visited and how people find the site. These statistics are anonymous and aggregated, and Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) in your browser to tell visits apart. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
To opt out, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
The Daily Furzzle you can play in your browser saves your progress and streak only in your browser's local storage. It is not sent to us, and clearing the site data in your browser removes it. Like the rest of the site, it reports anonymous usage events (such as a puzzle being started or solved) to Google Analytics.
Third-party services
Our Android apps may use the following third-party services:
- Google AdMob: Displays ads. AdMob may collect a device advertising identifier and usage signals in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. A consent dialog is shown where required.
- Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: Aggregated, anonymous usage and crash data used to improve the apps.
- Firebase Authentication & Firestore (Battery Hero only): Optional Google Sign-In for multi-device sync. Stores email and a small set of device-level data linked to your account.
- Google Play Games Services (Furzzle only): Optional sign-in for global leaderboards, achievements and cloud-saved progress. Your player profile, scores and saved games are stored and managed by Google Play Games in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy; the game is fully playable without signing in.
- Google Play Services & Billing: For app distribution, updates, and in-app purchases. Payment data is handled entirely by Google Play.
Permissions
Data retention & deletion
Most of our apps store data only on your device. Uninstalling the app removes this data.
Battery Hero optionally stores a small amount of account data in the cloud for multi-device sync. You can delete this at any time using the "Delete Account" option inside the app. Any remaining questions about deletion can be sent to redpiapps@gmail.com.
Deleting your Furzzle data
- Progress on your device: Uninstall Furzzle, or open Android Settings → Apps → Furzzle → Storage → Clear storage. This deletes your levels, best moves, daily streak and settings, and resets the anonymous analytics ID used by the app.
- Cloud-saved progress, scores and achievements: These are held by Google Play Games in your Google account, not by us. Open the Google Play Games app → your profile → Settings → Delete Play Games account & data, where you can delete Furzzle’s data on its own or your whole Play Games account.
- Analytics data: Furzzle has no accounts, so its analytics data is linked only to an anonymous app ID and is deleted automatically within 14 months. For any other deletion request, email redpiapps@gmail.com. We do not keep any other Furzzle data about you.
